Robert Amlung, ZDF
Robert Amlung is the Head of Digital Strategy at ZDF since 2006. His main task is to connect the large traditional broadcaster to the digital age.
Prior, Amlung worked for different TV channels. As a journalistic editor at ARD he was in charge of formats like Tagesschau and Tagesthemen. He held the position of the Head of News at Arte for two years. In 2001 Amlung already joined ZDF as the Chief Editor for online news. Later on he was also responsible for the strategic development of the digital media which then was followed up by his current position.
As a journalist with a technical background, Amlung unites experiences of two broad media fields: TV and internet.
