Where is the future going? Lift09!

Lift09 will look back to look ahead on February 25-27, 2009 in Geneva. We were told that the future would be about mechanization and computerization or complete with 3D flying virtual assistants. We now realize that long-praised vision of the 21st century may not materialize.

That said, change happened but not necessarily where we thought it would. What can we learn from the predictions that didn't happen? How do we better imagine the future? Lift09 will explore this topic with three intense days of inspiration and networking.
