Werner Vogels ist seit Januar 2005 Vice President und CTO bei Amazon.com in Seattle, Washington. Bis er 2004 bei Amazon als Director of Systems Research anfing, war er 10 Jahre als Wissenschaftler in der Abteilung Computer Science an der Cornell University tätig. Seit 2001 leitet er ein technologieorientiertes Weblog All Things Distributed.
Werner Vogels has been Vice President and CTO of Amazon.com in Seattle, Washington since January 2005. Before joining Amazon as Director of Systems Research in 2004, he spent 10 years as a scientist in the Computer Science department of Cornell University. He has run the "All Things Distributed" technology blog since 2001.
