Dr. Thomas Goette ist einer der drei Gründer von woobby, einem Mitmachportal, auf dem zu vielen Themen strukturierte Vergleiche in Form von Rankings zu finden sind. Thomas Goette wurde 1964 in Soltau geboren und studierte und promovierte an der Universität Göttingen. Danach war er fast 14 Jahre international als Unternehmensberater tätig, zuerst bei Roland Berger, dann bei DiamondCluster und Oliver Wyman; seine Themenschwerpunkte waren Telekommunikation und Internet.
