Ruth Henke ist Ressortleiterin Internet beim Focus Magazin Verlag.Sie hat Geschichte und Germanistik an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf studiert und eine Ausbildung zur Wissenschaftsjournalistin mit Schwerpunkt auf technischen Themen absolviert. Ruth Henke hat u. a. bei Bild der Wissenschaft und in der Wissenschaftsredaktion des Deutschlandfunks gearbeitet, zahlreiche Beiträge in Printmedien wie Wirtschaftswoche, Süddeutsche Zeitung, VDI Nachrichten publiziert, außerdem Hörfunkbeiträge, u. a. für den WDR, und Buchbeiträge, z. B. für den Deutschen Forschungsdienst.
Seit 1995 ist sie im Ressort Forschung und Technik des Focus Magazins tätig, zunächst als Redakteurin, dann als stellvertretende Ressortleiterin, seit 2001 als Ressortleiterin Internet.
