Rene Seeber ist Gründer und CTO von Qitera. Qitera entwickelt auf Basis semantischer Technologien eine Social Search-Plattform, die durch Personalisierung und ein empfehlungsbasiertes Werbemodell neue Sucherlebnisse und -Ergebnisse liefert.In seiner Funktion als Gründer und CTO von Only Solutions hat Rene Seeber Ende der 90er Jahre eine der führenden Internet-Bildsuchmaschinen entwickelt und das Unternehmen 2000 erfolgreich verkauft. Im Anschluss gründete er die auf Content-Filtering spezialisierte Cobion AG, die 2004 vom US-Security-Anbieter Internet Security Systems übernommen wurde. Nach der Unternehmenstransaktion war Rene Seeber als Chief Scientist weltweit für Entwicklung neuer Technologien bei Internet Security Systems verantwortlich.

As founder and CTO of Only Solutions, Rene developed a leading image search engine back in the 90s. After the successful acquisition of Only Solutions in 2000, Rene founded Cobion AG. As CTO Rene lead the development of the company's main content filtering technology and data center operations. In 2004 Cobion got acquired by US market leader Internet Security Systems. Rene stayed with ISS for 2 years to manage the post-merger integration and oversee ISS's technology development as chief scientist.
